Tues. Jan. 15 The mysterious Cahuita plague attacked the Costa Rica VIM Team—at bus time (7:30 AM) we had 11 women and 2 men down! A rather sluggish army climbed on the bus to proceed as dedicated soldiers.
This morning breakfast was in an “open air” church as progress is moving along on the church‘s second story addition, which means old roof comes off to prepare for the second story.
The team at the “house” put up several pillars which weigh close to 200 lbs. The children of the house made lovely bracelets for all the girls. At the orphanage the painting of yellow buildings continues and a crew took a sweep over the property picking up liter and cutting grass along the buildings.
